Chinese herbal medicine is used to fundamentally improve the function of organ systems and help restore homeostasis in the body. Patterns of disharmony are assessed via a thorough health history and by observing the tongue and pulse. Chinese herbal prescriptions are unique to the pattern presentation of each individual. The goal of Chinese herbal medicine is to bring the body back into a state of balance by helping to drain excesses and fortify deficiencies. Once the desired effect is reached, herbs are discontinued and lifestyle strategies are set to maintain optimal body function.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a means of improving circulation of fluids in the body and reducing muscle tension as well as muscular and fascial adhesions. It can also have a calming effect on the mind and help in recovery after a traumatic event.
